Being the central trading city of
Medieval times and the birthplace of the Renaissance, Florence has
been a cultural icon for hundreds of years and very much earned it's
bragging rights as a true showcase of European culture. It is a
surprisingly small in size with only 360,000 residents but huge in
terms of history and beauty.
