Appropriately enough Athens' Kerameikos is a
quiet and pleasant place, as it is the oldest and largest cemetery in
Attica. Overlooked by the Ayia Triada church and surround by ancient
walls this cemetery full of wild flowers and remarkably detailed
gravestones is a beautiful place to have a walk about. It escapes the noise of the city and remains a peaceful
resting places for those long since past.
